My HAW Berliner Tor GW technical English courses are designed to give the students a
mixture of essential technical and academic English engineering topics for vocabulary building and gaining confidence when
talking in a technical environment. Besides the foregoing, the students form small groups to research, design and then build a project task
given to them by me, with each student completing a formal technical report on the project and giving a group presentation of their project to the class - and naturally -
everything is done in English.
Many students thank me sincerely at the end of the course for enabling them to have this experience, which will stand
them in good stead for their future careers in the big, wide world.
